Yoda
Master Yoda

Crocheted amigurumi doll

Materials used: yarn in green, white, brown, mushroom color, beige; a pair of safety eyes; fiber fill. I did not use any metal wires 'coz I want my child to play with him. I also made his ears exceptionally large to make him cuter for my kid. His feed are disproportionally big as well so he can stand on his feet without any wires to support him.

He's about 19" tall. No pattern.

I'm a self-taught pencil artist. In May 2010 I stumbled upon some brilliant video tutorials on Youtube and decided to try and learn to draw in graphite pencils. A little over a year later I discovered soft pastels. I finished my first pastel drawing in August 2011. Since then I've been busy making drawings in both graphite pencils and pastels. It has been a wonderful experience learning and improving, and letting my skills mature.

I started crocheting in early 2014. It happened by chance: My cat sheds so much that by August 2013 I had collected a box of cat hair. Then I bought a book on how to craft with cat hair and made a couple of finger puppet cats. To make little neck ties for the puppet cats I needed some yarn. So I bought a few skeins of yarn in different colors and since I got them, I figured I might as well put them to use by learning to knit. When I tried to knit my first scarf I needed a crochet hook to pick up dropped stitches. So I got a crochet hook and everything took off from there. It has been super fun making the accessories and amigurumi dolls.

Hi, it depends on what kind of work it is. normally i charge $50-60 +shipping for a 12 inch tall doll, $70-80 +shipping for a 16" doll, depending on how complex it is :)

I love your paintings. I am focusing on the sky for my GCSE Art and have used you in my artist research for inspiration as I'm interested in creating work like this.
